The Construction Department of the Hoosier Company, Inc. has been in the highway construction industry for over 65 years. The Construction Department is a union contractor that functions as both a prime contractor, and a subcontractor of specialty construction services throughout Indiana. We are a pre-qualified contractor with the State of Indiana Department of Transportation. Additionally, we are a certified Women Business Enterprise (“WBE”) with the State of Indiana and the city of Indianapolis.
We are IMSA certified and have the expertise in our field so you, our valuable customer, can have peace of mind knowing that Hoosier will work Safely and accurately while meeting the demands of the schedule and the budget.
Hoosier prides itself in being your turnkey Contractor or specialty subcontractor. We can work anywhere within the state of Indiana installing traffic signals, signs and lighting on both heavy/highway and airport projects. We also install Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), which is any combination of the following, Dynamic Message Boards, Time Travel Signs, WIM Stations, ATR Systems, Towers and CCTV, Fiber Installation, RWIS weather stations and sensors.

Keith is a member of The Hoosier Company Management Team and is directly responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Construction Department operations.

Chuck is responsible for our overall schedule and leading our Foremen and crews in the field. Chuck makes sure our field employees have what they need to do the job and complete it safely and on time .

Bryan is responsible for leading our Project Managers. Bryan’s expertise in all aspects of what Hoosier does and his diverse field knowledge of design build, estimating and interpretation of Owner’s plans, specifications and standard drawings ensures that we deliver a safe and successful project on time for our Customer.

Teresa is responsible for contract management and billing. She ensures the execution of contracts with our customers and subcontractors.
Safety Director / Yard & Equipment Manager
VINCE MATTOX
Vince wears two hats at Hoosier. He serves as Safety Director and is responsible for all aspects of our Safety Program. He also serves as our Yard & Equipment Manager. In this role he is responsible for deliveries to and from our yard. He also manages our inventories with our many vendors. He is also responsible for keeping our equipment fleet up and running for our field operations.
