The Hoosier Company, Inc.

The Hoosier Company, Inc. (“Hoosier”) is a privately held company with over 90 years of construction and highway safety product sales experience. Hoosier’s commitment to providing the highest level of safety, service, and quality has made us one of the most recognizable names in roadway safety and construction in the Midwest.

Hoosier is a certified Woman-Owned Business Enterprise (“WBE”) in the States of Indiana and Missouri and in the city of Indianapolis. The Hoosier Company Inc. operates both as a roadway electrical contractor as well as a product sales & service distributor.

Hoosier’s Sales Department is active in 6 states across the Midwest. Our products create safer highways and protect the motoring public from hazards on the nation’s roadways. We offer the latest technology and innovation from quality manufacturers including Valtir, PSS Innovations, Safe-Hit, Wanco, Ver-Mac,  and more.

Hoosier’s Construction Department performs construction services, both as a prime contractor and a subcontractor, primarily within the state of Indiana. Construction services provided by Hoosier include the installation of traffic signals, roadway signs, roadway lighting, Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), and Airfield Lighting and Guidance Signs.

CHERYL MELANCON

Cheryl has been the president and sole owner of the The Hoosier Company Inc for over 35 years.  She is active in all phases of company management and strategic development.
Chief Operations Officer

KEITH MULLENS II

Keith is a member of The Hoosier Company Management Team and is directly responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Construction and Sales Department operations.

JIM NORDHOFF

Jim is a member of The Hoosier Company Management Team and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant responsible for all aspects of administration and also serves as the company’s EEO officer.

JOSH COULTER

Josh is responsible for managing all aspects of the Sales Team and for managing the Highway Safety Products line and is directly involved with the sales of those products to agency and contractor market segments. 
Regional Sales

Jason Tharp

Jason is responsible for sales in Missouri, Iowa and Kansas specializing in Highway Safety Products with Government Agencies and Contractors.

Sales Office Coordinator

ERICA MIZE

Erica is responsible for all of the Sales Department administrative functions including quote generation, order processing, invoicing, and document management.

Sam is responsible for scheduling /tracking of all shipments, product builds, rental products activity and maintaining stock inventory levels.

Director of Construction

BRYAN LINENBERG

Bryan is responsible for leading our Construction Team. Bryan’s expertise in all aspects of what Hoosier does and his diverse field knowledge of design build, estimating and interpretation of Owner’s plans, specifications and standard drawings ensures that we deliver a safe and successful project on time for our Customer.
Director of Business Development

John Agresta

John is responsible for future planning and business development. He is also part of our workforce development initiatives. John is the company liaison for all our industry partners staying up to date on the ever-changing transportation market. He is also actively involved in the management of Hoosier’s projects.

Estimator

PAUL NITISS

Paul is responsible for all estimating and procurement of work for our construction department.

ANN DERMODY

Ann is responsible for managing individual projects for our Customers. As a Project Manager for Hoosier, she manages daily communications, administration, and master schedules for these individual projects.

Zach is responsible for managing individual projects for our Customers. As a Project Manager for Hoosier, he manages daily communications, administration, and master schedules for these individual projects.

Operations Manager

BLAKE WILKINS

Blake is responsible for our overall schedule and leading our Foremen and crews in the field. Blake makes sure our field employees have what they need to do the job and complete it safely and on time .

Superintendent/Safety Director

Dusty Asberry

Dusty is responsible for supervising individual projects ensuring levels of safety, quality, and production. He also serves as Safety Director and is responsible for all aspects of our Safety Program.
Yard & Equipment Manager

VINCE MATTOX

Vince serves as our yard and equipment manager. In this role he is responsible for deliveries to and from our yard. He also manages our inventory with our many vendors. He is also responsible for keeping our fleet up and running for our field operations.

Contract Manager

TERESA MCDONOUGH

Teresa is responsible for contract management and billing. She ensures the execution of contracts with our customers and subcontractors.
