The SST® (Sacrificial Steel Terminal) is a re-directive, non-gating crash cushion engineered to meet NCHRP Report 350 Test Level 2 and 3 standards. Designed to shield the ends of concrete barriers, bridge piers, gore areas, and other fixed roadside objects, the SST® provides proven impact attenuation by absorbing kinetic energy and safely decelerating errant vehicles.

Built with a combination of steel and energy-absorbing cartridges, the SST® system is field-tested for reliability and engineered for straightforward installation and maintenance. Its sacrificial design allows for efficient repair or replacement after an impact, minimizing downtime and overall lifecycle costs.
